Bhopal: The working of the teams constituted by the Bharatiya Janata Party for management of elections has come to a halt all of a sudden after their initial start. Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar who is president of election management committee, is busy in Parliament session.

BJP state president Rakesh Singh is also spending most of his time in Delhi, because of Parliament session. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is busy in jan ashirwaad yatra. Other activities in the party have come to a halt.

Chouhan during his touring also reviews the activities of party organisation in Bhopal in the remaining time. Several teams were constituted by the BJP for decentralization of works related to election management. Several of these teams have not yet started their work even.

The Parliament session would conclude on August 10. It is expected that there would be a lull in organisational activities in the BJP. The party organization is failing in capitalizing on the mileage gained through Chouhan’s Yatra in favour of BJP in the state.

BJP national organization general secretary Ramlal too had expressed his displeasure over the pace of organization related works, considering the upcoming elections. Despite Ramlal’s reprimand, the leaders of party organization have failed in giving momentum to their works.

Dist presidents appointed by Nandkumar removed

BJP state president Rakesh Singh on Wednesday removed five district presidents on Wednesday. Rakesh Jadaun in Vidisha, Vivek Joshi in Ujjain, Basant Makode in Betul, Parasram Chauhan in Khargone and Nandkishore Patidar in Dewas have been appointed as district presidents.

Their predecessors were working for long time. The party organization had reports that they were not active. Some of the appointments were made during the term of former organizational general secretary Arvind Menon and former state president Nandkumar Singh Chouhan.  Singh has changed ten district presidents after assuming the charge of BJP state president.
