GWALIOR: A beneficiary convention was organised at Phoolbagh ground under Nagar Uday Campaign on Wednesday. The chief guest of the programme was Higher Education and Public Services Management Minister Jaibhan Singh Pavaiya. The convention was chaired by Mayor Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar. This convention was organise under the joint aegis of state government and municipal corporation Gwalior. An aid was distributed to 24 thousand 348 beneficiaries in convention.  On this occasion Minister Pawaiya including the other guests inaugurated 301 development work worth Rs 85 crore and also laid the foundation stone.

Minister said that in the leadership of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state government made different schemes for the welfare of every category of the society.

He mention different schemes of the government like ration supply of 1 kg on Rs 1, birth and marriage of girl child, CM Child Heart Treatment scheme and central government scheme Ujjawala etc. he also appreciated the municipal staff and residents of the city for cleanliness and sanitation, he said that because of the efforts of both of them, the city reached to 3rd place from 173 in only three months. Mayor threw the light on the achievements of Nagar Uday Campaign.
