Bhopal: MP Gau-Samvardhan Board to plant 21,000 saplings on Hariyali Amavasya

The saplings of different species will be planted in gaushalas across the state on July 28.

Bhopal(Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Gau-Samvardhan Board Chairman Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri said on Monday the board would plant 21,000 saplings on the occasion of Hariyali Amavasya on July 28.

The saplings of different species will be planted in gaushalas across the state. In all the registered gaushalas, 5 saplings each will be planted. Plantation will also be done on Kamdhenu Gau Abhayaranya (Cow Sanctuary) premises located in Salaria of Agar-Malwa.

He said plantation will also be done by the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department in the office premises of the state. He made an appeal to public to participate in plantation.
