BHOPAL: Four men kidnapped a minor boy and thrashed his in board daylight on Sunday afternoon. They later dumped him near Prabhat square in the evening after stabbing him in his leg.
The minor boy is a resident of Chota Chambal area and the accused are residents of Bada Chambal area. The boy Shabbir runs a water stall near Prabhat square with his mother Amna and the accused also run a stall.
They had a dispute over their business of supplying water packets in the buses that pass through the area. According to Ashoka Garden police SHO Umesh Yadav the accused Sameer, Saleem, Sohail and Ashraan thrashed Amna near the square and then held the boy in an auto and fled the area.
After receiving first-aid at an hospital she informed police that her son has been kidnapped. However, after an FIR was lodged- police were informed that the boy was abandoned at the square form where he was taken and that he was bleeding profusely.
He was also taken to Hamidia hospital where he was admitted. He told police that he was taken in an auto rickshaw to to Sehore via Bilkhiria. Later he was stabbed in leg and was left near the square. Yadav said the accused have been booked for kidnapping and attempt to murder.
