Bhopal: More than 17 lakh fake voters in 53 constituencies, claims Congress

Bhopal: In just 53 state assembly constituencies of MP, more than 17 lakh fake voters have been identified, claimed Congress state media president Sobha Oza, while addressing media, here on Tuesday. Congress leader and the members of ThePolitics.in have raised the serious allegations on the working of Election Commission of India (ECI).

Oza informed that the Congress has submitted a memorandum stating the irregularities to the chief election officer (CEO) of MP. She informed that the party is trying to establish transparency in elections and giving wakeup call to the ECI and others.

She claimed that the maximum numbers of fake voters are found in Sonkatch 28 percent followed by Dhar at 26 percent. She also alleged that in MP, office of CEO had provided them an image copy of electoral roll. But in Maharashtra and Rajasthan it has been provided in the form of non-editable text format, which can be verified with the help of software she alleged, “The CEO wanted to hide the fact and irregularities in the list.”

Spokesperson JP Dhanopia claimed that CEO had done it intentionally to avoid verification; Congress leaders have filed a case in Supreme Court seeking a copy of the same electoral roll in non editable text format. CEO of ThePolitics.in.

Vikas Jain claimed that BJP had won the election held in 2013 election with 27 lakh votes and it is claimed that around 60 lakh fake voters were present in the state. He claimed that EVM can be hacked and they have already held a demo in five different districts. He said the soon such a demonstration will be held in Bhopal after which they will to file a case in the Court.
