Bhopal: MNCs roped in under part chart to built gaushalas

Bhopal: The work of cow shelter gausahala will be done on the pattern of part chart, the chief minister had set the date of February 25 to finish the work. The multinational companies have to share the proportionate amount in the state under corporate social responsibility.

A meeting was held at Mantralaya under the chairmanship of CM Kamal Nath. In the meeting the animal husbandry minister Lakhan Singh Yadav, agriculture minister Sachin Yadav and rural development minister Kamleshwar Patel participated along with officials of departments concerned.

The CM directed that the work of Goushala be completed within time frame. He declared that the panchayats will be the nodal agency of the programme. The vacant area of the farms of agriculture department will be used for the cow shelters. Some of the agencies which are working in the field of cow conservation will be incorporated in the programme.

The organisation Dayodaya will operate the Goushala in five places, one organisation will run the programme at the Kankali Mata temple area in Raisen. He directed that companies which are earning from the state have to spend a proportionate amount in the state. They have to divert the funds of CSR in the state. They shouldn’t spend the earned amount from the state, in other states.
