Bhopal: A 17-year-old girl set herself ablaze pouring kerosene at herself at her home on Saturday afternoon. Cops found an empty cane of kerosene and a suicide note from the spot. In a hand written suicide note she has said that she is taking her own life as she failed to do anything in her life. According to Aishbagh SHO Ajay Nayar, the deceased was to appear in her high-school exams as she was a student of private mode.

Nayar said her parents and two brothers had gone for their work at the time she set herself afire. It was at around 3 pm, when her neighbors spotted smoke bellowing out of the house and they rushed to see what was happening. They were also hearing her shrieks.

The locals then entered the house to find the girl burnt and they doused flames using water and other ways after which she was taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. A case was then registered in connection with the incident and probe is underway, however statements of her kin have not been recorded till evening.
