BHOPAL: The dispute of inauguration of Vivekanand Theme Park between law minister PC Sharma and MLA Vishwas Sarang has reached to Governor Anandiben Patel. A delegation led by Bhopal MP Alok Sanjar on Friday handed over a memorandum to Governor and demanded her intervention.
The delegation comprised of mayor Alok Sharma, MLA Rameshwar Sharma and Krishna Gaur along with Sarang. Sanjar told Governor that Sarang had got Vivekanand Theme Park developed in his constituency and it was completed before assembly polls but could not be inaugurated because of code of conduct becoming effective.
The delegation claimed that Sarang, being an MLA, inaugurated the Park on March 3 and the state government, with the intention to take revenge, got an FIR lodged. The name plate of Sarang was also damaged. The delegation claimed that the Bhoomi pujan and inauguration of the Park was again done despite of the fact that it was already done during BJP government.
An FIR was also lodged against local BJP leader Virendra Rai. Sanjar said the public representatives of BJP, after Congress coming to power, are facing humiliation. The delegation urged the Governor to get the cases lodged against Sarang and Rai along with other BJP leaders withdrawn and also direct to get the name plate of inauguration of the Park by Sarang put again by the administration.
