Cyber cell police have arrested another member of the gang which had duped several youths in the name of job across the country. The accused has been identified as Vinay Singh 24.The racket was busted after a Bhopal resident Ghanshyam Maheshwari had filed a complaint with the cyber cell that the accused had duped him of Rs 8 lakh, in the name of a job. He alleged that he had contacted the accused through a website shine.com.
The other accused in the case: Kundan Singh, Kishanpal singh, Rahul Sharma and Pankaj Negi had told the cops that they would assure the job aspirants and would make them deposit money in their accounts. To convince them further they would also conduct their online interview.
The accused would contact the youth through their fake website where the youth’s details were sought. They would ask the youth for money in the name of fees. The cyber cell has issued an advisory cautioning the youths to not upload their data on any new website without confirming its authenticity as there are chances that anti-social elements might take advantage of it.
