Bhopal: A farmer’s daughter Megha Parmar has proved that where there is a will there is way. Failure did not deter the brave girl to chase her goal and she through her courage and perseverance realized her long-cherished dream of scaling the world’s highest peak. On the wee hours of May 22, the Sehore girl Megha climbed the Mt Everest and fulfilled her dream of hoisting tri-color on the highest peak of the world. Megha had first attempt to scale the Everest in 2018 but her efforts was thwarted by nature’s interventions. Megha underwent stern training under her Coach Ratnesh Pandey . She faced many challenges, tough and erratic weather while realizing her goal. The climber broke her back bones while undergoing training at Manali but it did not deter her. She accompanied with another MP girl, Bhawna Deheriya scaled the 8848 metre high mountain and made the state proud. Her coach Ratnesh had to return from the fourth base camp due to a fault in his oxygen mask.
