BHOPAL: Students of Peoples Medical College were up in arms when a 4th year MBBS student suffered pain in chest and died before reaching Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC) on Wednesday.
MBBS student Ravi Garg, a resident of Patna, suffered chest pain on Wednesday. When he was taken to People’s Medical Hospital, doctors referred him to BMHRC. The students has alleged that the doctors refused to give them ambulance saying that there is no ambulance present at that moment and before they could take him to BMHRC, Ravi died. The students started protesting at the hospital after which Nishatpura police reached the hospital and pacified the students. The body of the students has been sent for postmortem informed police.
