BHOPAL: Sensation prevailed in under-construction Galaxy City, when a man and a woman were found dead on Monday morning. The incident happened under Avadhpuri police station.
CSP Virendra Mishra said deceased Dalchand Adivasi alias Guddu and Amravati Bai were found dead in half naked conditions in two different blocks of the under-construction building. Guddu was a driver, whereas Amravati Bai was a labourer and wife of guard Gendalal.
The suspected murder, it is believed, resulted due to an illicit relationship between the driver and the woman. The niece of the deceased had noticed some movement on Monday around 2 am at the deceased’s house. She had gone to check on Amravati to which she had complained of having stomach pain.
The police launched a manhunt to arrest the culprit even as they registered the case under Section 302 of the IPC and sent the bodies for post mortem. The police suspect Gendalal or someone related to Guddu had killed them. The police are also investigating a third angle in the matter. Some people have been questioned in the case.
