BHOPAL: A 26-year-old man died of lightening strike at Kajlikheda forest under Kolar police station area on Saturday. His charred body was found late in the evening in the forest.
Police said the deceased has been identified as Sonu Singh Tomar, 26, son of Antar Singh, was found dead in Kajlikheda forest.
Police were informed after the body was spotted by the family members inside the forest. The family members began to search for the accused after he did not return in the evening and they went to check for him in the forest where he had gone for grazing goats.
The deceased was a shepherd. He went to graze goats at around 3 in the afternoon on Saturday. However, after rains started the goats ran towards his village while he stayed there inside a hut. As rains stopped, he stepped towards his home but was hit by lightening.
