Bhopal: Man killed in car-bike collision

A 48-year-old man died after a car hit his bike near Campion School on Monday evening. He was heading towards Bairagarh on the bike when the car arrived from behind and hit him between Khajuri and Bairagarh at around 8:30 pm.  The deceased worked as a supervisor in TATA motors in Bhopal. He hailed from Himachal Pradesh and lived with his kin in Bairagarh.

Khajuri SHO Upendra Bhati said the deceased Sanjay Rana was returning on his bike from somewhere when he was hit. Bhati said the erring driver after hitting the bike from behind, tried to flee but his car hit a tree. It then overturned and he got injured. However, he fled the area on foot and the car was later seized by police. Bhati said the errant driver is yet to be identified but we have filed an FIR in the incident and launched a probe.
