Bhopal: District and Sessions Court on Monday awarded lifer to a man for killing his elder brother out of jealousy in October 2016 in Aishbag. Wasim Ahmed, 26, was found murdered in his room on October 21, 2016. Wasim was pursuing physician course in Unani Medical College, Kolar.
His younger brother Nasim Ahmed also wanted to pursue the same profession and was preparing for it. The two brothers were staying together at a rented accommodation in Housing Board Colony, Aishbag. However, they had sharp difference and did not see eye to eye. Their father, who had a Unani clinic in Raisen, had forced the two brothers to stay together.
Nasim, an addict was jealous of rise of his elder brother Wasim, who was considered the blue-eyed boy of the family. While elder brother was about to complete the course, the younger one was nowhere near the completion. While the two stayed together in a room due to their father pressure, they prepared tea separately and even had lunch in different hotels.
Nasim hammered his elder brother to death while he was sleeping. He used tricks he learnt from a crime based TV serial to kill his brother. He wiped the blood stains wall and even washed his blood-stained clothes. When police asked him why he washed his trousers in the night, Nasim had told the cops that He did it for “Juma Namaz”. Mohammed Asif, who used to run a fair price shop on ground floor of the house where the murder took place had informed police about the incident.
