BHOPAL: A 42-year old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his residence in Bagh Dilkusha under Aishbagh police station area on Sunday.
Panic prevailed in the Bagh Dilkhusa area after Athar Ahmed was found dead at his residence. Police were informed by the locals after foul smell started emanating from the house. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation. Family members told the police that the deceased was a habitual drinker and they stranded relationship with him after they failed to mend his ways. Police said that Ahmed would have died on Friday and Saturday could not be ascertained and would be confirmed after receiving the post mortem report. In the initial investigation no visible marks over the body have been found by the police and the reason behind the death would be investigated.
