Bhopal: Labour minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia inspected the Employees State Insurance Hospital (ESIH) at Sona Giri in the city on Friday. Expressing concern over mismanagement in the Hospital the minister directed to suspend one employee and an issue show-cause notice to one doctor.
He said better health facilities will be provided in all the hospitals being run under ESIH in the state for the workers of organised sector. During inspection he expressed his concern over slow progress of renovation works of Rs 2.8 crore in the hospital. He instructed the officials to get mosquito net put on doors and windows in all the wards. He also directed that a water cooler be installed on the hospital campus and a radiologist be appointed. Sisodia directed Hospital superintendent Dr Satyavati Hemandri to submit demand of ward boys and other vacant posts.
