Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The western region of Madhya Pradesh recorded sharp drop in night temperature while eastern region registered sharp rise in minimum temperature on Saturday night.
Drop in night temperature has been attributed to rainfall that occurred at several places in the state on Saturday. Besides, a trough line prevails over Rajasthan.
According to meteorological department, Bhopal recorded drop of 2.6 degrees in night temperature that settled at 25.8 degrees Celsius. Indore reported rise of 3 degrees in night temperature that settled at 24.6 degrees Celsius.
Pachmarhi recorded marginal drop of 0.5 degree Celsius in night temperature, which stood at 24.5 degrees Celsius. Raisen recorded drop of 2.9 degrees with night temperature of 23.5 degrees Celsius. Rajgarh recorded drop of 2.7 degree. Its night temperature was 26.3 degrees Celsius.
In eastern part, Sagar recorded rise of 4.5 degrees in night temperature that settled at 28.3 degrees Celsius while Damoh recorded 3.6 degree rise in minimum temperature, which stood at 28.2 degrees Celsius. Umaria recorded rise of 2.7 degree with night temperature hovering around 25.5 degrees Celsius.
