BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh police bagged five awards for innovative smart policing. Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industries will be handing over the awards on May 23.
FICCI had called the entries from all over nation under the smart policing categories. The organisation had found the five initiatives of the MP police worthy of recognition. The programme of Chhindawra district ‘Human trafficking and child safety’, home guard’s ‘disaster relief system’, state police programme Dial-100 and police training college.
‘Improvement in police constable training’ of Indore and state police ‘GRP Helpline’, are among the winning entries. The awards will be given at New Delhi in a function scheduled on May 23 and 24.
