BHOPAL: The route for ‘Run Bhopal Run’ event has been fixed. The event will begin on December 4 from Motilal Nehru Stadium and conclude at TT Stadium. The participants of first race (21 km) will start from Motilal Nehru Stadium at 6.30am and go to Police control room, Gandhi Park trisection, KL Pradhan trisection, Polytechnic Square, Kilok Park trisection, Retghat, Karbala Pump House, where they would take U-turn and come to TT Stadium via Bharat Bhawan, Boat Club, Van Vihar, Bhadbhada Square, Jawahar Chouk and Rangmahal Square.
The participants of second race (11 kms) will start from Motilal Nehru Stadium at 7pm and go to Police control room trisection, KL Pradhan trisection, Kilok Park trisection, Reghat and Karbala Pump House, where they will take u-turn to come to TT Stadium via Banganga and Roshanpura Square.
The third race (5kms) will begin at 7.30am from Motilal Nehru Stadium. The participants will go to Police Control Room trisection, Gandhi Park trisection, Polytechnic Square, Banganga, Rangmahal Square, TT Nagar police station before concluding at TT Stadium. Traffic diversion has also been done. For vehicular traffic at Lal Parade Ground, the two-wheelers and four-wheelers will take right turn from Malviya Nagar trisection and go from Patrakar Bhawan trisection, Birla Temple, Vindhyachal Bhawan, Court Square, Maida Mill, Jinsi Square, Lily Square and Tallaiya trisection to go towards Moti Masjid/Bus Stand. The vehicles, going towards Lalghati, will take the route from Link Road.1, Board Office Square, Chetak Bridge, Rachna Nagar, Prabhat Petrol Pump, 80 feet road, Bajaria Railway Overbridge, Sangam Trisection, Hamidia Road and Royal Market. The vehicles going towards new Bhopal/Airport will go via Link Road.1, Board Office, Chetak Bridge, Rachna Nagar, Prabhat Square, JK Road, Raj Homes, Ayodhyanagar Bypass, Bhanpura Bridge, Karond Square and Gandhi Nagar trisection. The vehicles coming from Depot Square will go via Mata Mandir, Arjun Nagar, 1250 Square, Board Office Square, Subhash Nagar, 80 feet Road or Jinsi Square to Lily Cinema.
