Bhopal: Leader of opposition (LoP) Ajay Singh expressed his concerns over the working of police and raised questions over the ‘Anti child marriage’ campaign of BJP, in MP. Leader of opposition (LoP) Ajay Singh has demanded an immediate filing of first information report (FIR) against BJP vice president Arvind Bhadoria for hatching conspiracy against Congress MLA Hemant Katare.

Singh said that the affidavit submitted by the student of Makhanlal University of Journalism in Jabalpur high court, raises serious questions on the role of the government. He said that it confirms that jails have turned into places of hatching conspiracies to settle political scores.

Singh has written to CM and the director general of police (DGP), demanding filling of a case under section 182, 211 or 120 B of the IPC and sought action against the concerned jailor for violating jail manual under political pressure. Singh quipped as to how Vikramjit Singh, who is absconding for three months, reached jail.

Singh alleged that the working of Police in cases of minister Rampal Singh or Congress MLA Hemant Katare shows that it is not working impartially and as per law. The police filed FIRs in these cases without giving any thought which showed that it was working under political pressure.

Singh said why police are not taking any action now on the basis of affidavit submitted by the girl student in the high court. Singh alleged that Police not showing the same alacrity in taking action.
