Bhopal: The body of 16-year-old boy and student of Kendriya Vidyalaya-3 (KV- 3) was cremated on Sunday at Mata Mandir locality here after post-mortem. Deceased Aditya Singh Parihar, a student of class 10 in KV-3 drowned in Apsara Vihar waterfalls in Pachmarhi on Saturday evening. Aditya, along with 35 other students from Bhopal had gone to attend scout and guide camp organised at Pachmarhi from May 16- 22. On Saturday, he along with other students accompanied by teachers had gone to Apsara Vihar waterfalls as part of the adventure activities in the camp. However, after few minutes, the teachers and organisers of the camp present there pulled him out and gave first-aid. They then rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. His parents were informed about the incident by the school staff on Saturday late evening. According to sources, his body was brought to his residence in Mata Mandir area of TT Nagar locality on Sunday morning to perform his last rites after the post-mortem. His last rites were performed by his father Gopal Parihar who works at public works department. He has two elder sisters who are studying while his mother is a housewife. Aditya was good at studies and was awaiting the results of CBSE board examinations. Fond of playing guitar, his family and teachers were confident that he would score well examination, added source.
