Relatives of a 27-year-old woman, who had died in a private hospital, created ruckus in JP hospital on Wednesday. The woman had died in a private hospital eight days ago but they were alleging that she was not treated well when she was admitted in JP hospital before that.
One woman patient Rajni Yadav wife of Kundan Yadav, a resident of Gwal Mohalla Roshanpura, was admitted in JP hospital on February 26. Later, she got operated and gave birth to a child on February 28. She was referred to Hamidia hospital on March 2, but the relatives took her to a private hospital, where she died on March 12.
Her relatives then reached JP hospital on Wednesday afternoon and blamed the two female doctors, there, for alleged negligence. They alleged that gynecologist Dr. Preeti Devpujari had not treated her well that is why they shifted her to Chirayu hospital. They also leveled allegations against Dr. PP Chaturvedi who had given her anesthesia.
Civil surgeon forms inquiry committee
However, after the issue went to civil surgeon Dr. IK Chugh, he formed an inquiry committee to probe into their allegations. The committee has Dr. AK Diwedi, Dr. Abha Jaisani, Dr. Neeta jain and Dr. Balram Upadhyay. CS said, “The woman had delivery related complications but her child is safe. The cause of her death will be probed into.”
