Heat wave swept many parts of the state on Thursday. Meteorological department has issued advisory for the people for protection from heat wave. Sagar, Hoshangabad, Indore,Ujjain, Gwalior, Chambal, Shahdhol divisions will continue to bear brunt of heat wave. Khargone recorded 45 degree Celsius which was highest temperature of the state. As per the advisory people should wear light coloured garments and increase water intake. Similarly, people have been told to put on caps or scarf on head.
Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 41 degree Celsius which was 4.3 degree Celsius above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 22.9 degree Celsius which was 2.9 degree Celsius above normal. In Bhopal, scorching heat has paralysed the normal life in the state capital. People ventured out after covering head for protection of heat wave.
Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 40.6 degree Celsius which was 3.5 degree Celsius above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 23.4 degree Celsius which was 4.2 degree Celsius above normal. As per the meteorological department, there is no scope for respite from heat wave in the days to come. Temperature is likely to soar further. Scorching heat has swept entire state and people are facing brunt of heat.
