Bhopal: Khargapur Naib tehsildar suspended over bribe

BHOPAL: Tikamgarh district collector on Sunday suspended naib tehsildar of Khargapur over the charge of alleged anomalies in the mutation of a land. The decision comes a day after a video of farmer tying a buffalo to jeep naib tehsildar had gone on social media. A farmer Laxmi Yadav had accused Verma of demanding Rs 1 lakh bribe for settlement of two mutation cases. Minister for revenue Govind Rajput took cognizance of the incident and directed district collector Saurav Kumar Suman to take action against the official.
