BHOPAL: Suspended IAS officer Sashi Karhawat ended her fast-unto-death without getting government assurance on Sunday. Karhawat will join Narmada Seva Yatra with her Guru.
Karnawat said that she has ended her fast on the instructions of her Guru who is in Ayodhaya. The priest of Pitambara Shakti Peeth, situated in Kotra Sultanabad, Ravikant Maharaj offered water to her to end the fast. She launched the fast unto death from December 6. She said that chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had promised her that she would be reinstated shortly, but the general administration department extended her suspension period.
Annoyed by the government move against her, she went on fast. She added that along with her guru, she will be going to join Narmada Seva Yatra from Udaipura of Raisen district in coming days.
She also added that after fasting for six days she is feeling more energetic and purified.
