Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath is busy these days asking the industrialists to vow for setting-up industries in the state. Nath had discussed with all renowned industrialists of the country seeking their cooperation in the industrial development of the state. Several of them have come up with investment proposals in the state. Eyeing Lok Sabha polls, Nath may soon disclose the investments coming in the state after his becoming the Chief Minister.
According to information, Nath has spoken to Ratan Tata, Anand Mahindra, Mukesh Ambani and several industrialists. Nath has told these industrialists clearly that investment in the state would be the befitting greeting to him on becoming the Chief Minister.
Nath, after constituting cabinet, kept industries department under his charge. Minister Bala Bachchan and PC Sharma, who were close to him, were not assigned any work of the department. Nath is taking care of all the issues related to the department at his own level. All proposals related to industries are being looked after by Nath’s political advisor R K Miglani.
According to Miglani, investment by several industrial houses in the state would be seen soon. He said government’s priority is employment to youths and it would be possible only when there would be investment in the state. The results of efforts of Chief Minister would come up soon.
Nath, during his tour of Davos in Switzerland, met Cristoph Wolf, head of Future of Mobility System. Nath also discussed on possibilities of mono-rail in the state with him. Nath also met South Africa’s, trade and investment minister, Rob Davis. He also met Mageshvaran Suranjan, president of Proctor and Gamble, Asia-Pacific India and Africa, and discussed on investment in the state. Chief Minister Nath also met Lazard, president of IMF News.
