BHOPAL: Congress objected to the deployment of 14 employees of the controversial Jan Abhiyan Parishad for the elections duty.  The office of the district returning officer and district collector Sudam Khade had written to the JAP state chief Jitendra Singh Raje to send in 14 employees for the first term training session at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Polytechnic College on May 9.  The RO will conduct the two term training sessions. They will be trained as a preceding officer of the polling stations.

The Congress media vice president Bhupendra Gupta informed that they had objected to such deployment during the Vidhan Sabha elections as well. The matter was reported to the Election Commission of India, which was accepted and the duties were reassigned. He asked, “What made the returning officer of Bhopal to deploy JAP employees for poll duties once again? Have they become pure and pious in last four months?”

He further added that the objection against the official concerned is related with their work been done in the regime of former BJP government. He alleged that the JAP employees are involved in spreading the RSS and BJP ideology in the villages on the government expenses. If these employees are given such a critical responsibility then they will work as an RSS and BJP agent at the polling stations, which will surely affect the fairness of the elections.  He added that the Congress party will file a complaint to the RO as well as to the ECI into the matter.
called for training
The JAP employees who have been directed to appear for training are: Sayyed Zakir Ali Jafri, Daryav Singh Raghuwanshi, Praveen Sharma, Pramod Kumar Sharma, Ujjawala Tirke, Sarika Sawant, Neha Kamble, Anjana Jain, Anuradha Garg, Sweta Sisodia, Vinu Sharma, Nipendra Shah, Rakesh Kumar and Vivek Kumar Sahu for the training.
