BHOPAL: Jai Jagat Samvad was launched in the presence of senior Gandhian thinker Radha Bahan Bhatt, Anuradha Shankar, ADG and Dayaram Namdev Secretary, Gandhi Bhawan Trust on the occasion of 90th year of salt satyagrah and Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary. Radha Bahan Bhatt narrated the story of Dandi Yatra and Salt Satyagraha and exhorted the youth to adopt the mantra of Jai Jagat to bring peace to the world.
She said that with this mantra, saint Vinoba Bhave not only gave the message of friendship among the people, but got millions of acres of land by running the Bhudan movement. ADG Anuradha Shankar said that the whole world has learned the lesson of non-violence from the Salt Satyagraha run by Mahatma Gandhi. Dayaram Namdev said that such a dialogue is necessary for connecting Gandhi’s idea with the youth. The program was conducted by Sanjya Acharya, Partner of Go Rurban.
JJY from Rajghat to Geneva
Aneesh Kumar of Ekta Parishad informed that to disseminate the Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts to usher true non-violence and world peace Jai Jagat Yatra will be launched from Rajghat in Delhi and it will traverse all the way to Geneva. Jai Jagat dialogue series is a part of this larger aim. In the second session on the first day of the Jai Jagat dialogue, social activist Ramkumar Vidyarthi, Dinesh Deshrajan, Ajay Pandit Synergy, Arshi, Aarti, Krishna, Rahul, Niru and Anju Vajpayee addressed the youth.
