Bhopal: Lokayukta police on Friday caught principal of ITI Nasrullhaganj red handed accepting bribe of Rs 2,500 from a computer operator. Inspector Salim informed that computer operator Kiran Mahatre had filed a complaint to SP Lakayukta on February 23 alleging that principal Ganesh Prasad Prajapati was demanding bribe of Rs 2,500 to release her salary cheque of Rs 10,500.
The operator, who is contractual employee, said that principal wanted him to give Rs 2,500 as commission every month. After verifying the complaint, Lokayukta sleuths laid a trap and caught Prajapati accepting bribe amount from the operator. The police have registered a case under the corruption Act.
