Bhopal: On the day when the Election Commission of India announced the dates for general election, Chief Minister Kamal Nath, claiming that the party is fully prepared said will take to public the development works and the promises fulfilled by Congress government during its 80-day rule.
“In state there is no issue, we will contest election on the works done by the state government in 80 days and compare it with the 5-years of NDA rule.” “I believe voters of the state will secure their future by making right choice in the upcoming general elections,” said Nath interacting with media at PCC here on Sunday.
Ruling out any possibilities of forging an alliance with BSP and SP in the state for the LS polls, Nath said the first list of the LS candidates will be announced in day or two. Attacking the Narendra Modi government for taking ‘credit’ for air strike on terrorists training camp in Pakistan, Chief Minster Kamal Nath said that the Air Force deserves full credit and people are fully aware about their valour and also the attempt of the government of politicising it.
Alleging that Modi government utterly failed, CM asked: “Why the Modi government never talk about employment? Why terrorist attacks have gone up during NDA rule? And why farmers were in distress?” Modi government failed to chalk out any plan for the generating employment for youth that it had promised before elections.
Highlighting the work carried out by Congress government, Nath said, till Sunday morning 25 lakh farmers have been covered under loan waiver scheme in the state. “Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the nation to have given the 27 per cent reservation to OBC and we are also implementing 10 per cent quota for economically weak in general category”.
Former CM Arjun Singh had formed Mahajan Commission for the OBC, the state accepted the recommendations of the commission. Taking a jibe at Modi for his made in India campaign, CM asked “The phone you are using, the aircraft you are frying in who have made them. Modiji is a good actor I appreciate his talent.” “We have made laws for welfare of poor and what has NDA done, nothing, they had cheated youths in the name of Make In India,” said Nath.
