If my ministerial post and post of MP become restraint then I would resign to fight against crime and terror and once again free my motherland- Bundelkhand from terror, exploitation and criminals, said Union minister Uma Bharati, addressing a public meeting in Khargapur constituency of Teekamgarh district on Thursday.
Bharati said if she felt that police and administrative officers were not working properly to execute the directives of Election Commission (EC) for free elections then she would have to enter into her district on the polling day. Bharati requested EC to ensure free elections in Teekamgarh, Khargapur and Prithvipur.
Bharati also said that it is her duty to free her motherland from terror. She recalled the incident when a party candidate was murdered in the last assembly elections leading to spread of terror on polling centres. Attacking the Congress, Bharati alleged that Congress candidates win on the basis of terror and money.
She appealed that it was the responsibility of the people to vote for the BJP government once again. Bharati, appreciating the Shivraj’s government in the state, said the government in the state ensured development of all and made it a leading state. Bharati urged the people to vote for Shivraj’s government in the state and vote for PM Narendra Modi at the centre.
