Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) BHEL will take out the rath yatra of Lord Jagannath, Lord Baldeva and Goddess Subhadra on July 3.
The preparations are in full swing to celebrate the grand rath yatra festival. The 6-km rath yatra will be completed in 8 hours. On the occasion, children will dress like Goddess Radha and Lord Krishna, Balram, Sita, Ram, Hanuman.
Temple management committee head HG Rasanand Das, members of committee Manish Kohali and Ajay Gurjar said images of Lord Jagannath , Baldeva and Subhadra will be brought from Puri, which will cost Rs 1.50 lakh.
The rath yatra will start from old RTO near Rani Kamlapati station and end at Rohit Nagar via 7 no bus stop, National Hospital, Priyadarshini market, 10 number Market, 1100 quarters, Shaitan Singh Square, Shahpura sector A, Aura mall, and Gulmohar.
A special chariot is coming from Avantikapuri for rath yatra. ISKCON follows certain standards to design chariots. Mahaprasad will be distributed during rath yatra. Kirtan teams will join from different places.
