BHOPAL: The IPS officers of north-east states took a tour of the Dial-100 control room in the state capital on Sunday. The delegation of 27 IPS officers are on tour of state under the conduction course of study and cultural programme.
The SP of Dial-100 programme, Amit Saxena said the power point presentation was organised in which the officers were informed about the details of the programme.
The officers visited the call takers room, dispatcher room, server room and others, the information about event monitoring and vehicle tracking system was described to them. They were told that 1,000 Fast Response Vehicles (FRV) are functioning in the state. These FRVs visit around 6,000 places and help the needy people every day.
These FRVs are functioning especially around schools, colleges, market, and other places which are important. They are helping to control crime against women and children.
