Bhopal: The two-day international conference on Data, Engineering and Applications 2017 will be jointly organised by School of Information Technology at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sagar, Institute of Research and Technology (SIRT), Bhopal. The conference will start on October 28.

The conference will bring academicians, scientists, experts from industry on one platform wherein they will exchange views on the subject. The conference will be held at campuses of RGPV and SIRT. Those who have been invited to speak at the international conference include former director of Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, Dr Sankar K Pal, IIT, Mumbai, Professor Dr D B Pathak, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur, vice-chancellor Dr P K Sinha, Computer Society of India vice-president Dr Gautam Mahapatra, Computer Science and Publishing Development associate editorial director Suvira Shrivastava.

Dr Jitendra Agrawal, who will preside over one of the sessions, said, “We have received more than 240 papers from researchers. About 30 percent are selected for presentation.” The conference will be organised with support of Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST), Bhopal Chapter of Computer Science of India, and others.
