“Technology should not be made a basis of knowledge as it eliminates your concerns,” said renowned journalist Punya Prasun Bajpai at a program organised by Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication on the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Makhanlal Chaturvedi.

The program also witnessed the presence of former HoD of Journalism and Mass Communication, Dr Harisingh Gaur Central University, Sagar and newly appointed VC of MCU, Deepak Tiwari presided the program. A special lecture of Bajpai on Takneek Ke Daur Mein Moolyon Ki Patrakarita (Journalism of values in the era of technology) was organised.

Bajpaye further said technology should only be considered as a tool for information and it must be kept in mind that information is not knowledge. Bajpaye told the students that the facts that are presented through the means of technology are not always the final truth.
