BHOPAL: Minister for commerce, industries, employment and mineral resources Rajendra Shukla has said that Madhya Pradesh is a rapidly progressing state in the Industrial sector. He urged the industrial organisations to become partners and make state’s presence felt on the industrial map of the country.
Shukla was addressing annual function of CII in Bhopal on Friday.
Shukla mentioned that the state has made rapid strides in every field under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. He said that there is a vast scope for industrial investment in the state. The remarkable feat of the state in agricultural sector could be replicated in the industrial sector too. Shukla said that there was a scope for investment in textile, automobile and renewable energy sector in the state. He termed Rs. 2.97 per unit bid rate received for world’s largest solar power plant coming up at Rewa as remarkable.
Principal Secretary Industries Mohammad Suleman said that industrial investment has gained pace due to Global Investors Summit held continuously in the state.
