It was European historians who termed it as Indus Valley though it is situated between Sindhu and Saraswati rivers.
Dr Sharma, using power-point presentation and pictures, said that it is a fact that Saraswati River was not an imagination and it disappeared due to geographical changes. Dr Sharma said as many as 2449 Harappan and pre-Harappan sites have been discovered by the researchers. He said the centre of this civilization was India.
