BHOPAL: The Income Tax team conducted survey in the office of Agarwal Construction situated in MP Nagar on Monday. The details of the survey are yet to come.
The I-T department is conducting survey in various places after the demonetising of the currency note of Rs 500 and 1000.
Mostly the surveys are being conducted to check the storage of demonetised currency, and the builders and the gold traders are on the scanner of the I-T department.
The Income Tax department had received complaints about firm’s projects in Kolar and Shahpura region. Sources said that the firm had been accused of forcing the farmers of giving up their land and using benami properties.
