BHOPAL: A letter was handed over to the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) chairman Surjit Singh Chouhan at the BMC Parishad meeting condemning the behaviour of Leader of Opposition Mohammed Saghir after Saghir, pointing towards BMC chairman Surjit Singh Chouhan, raised the issue of kiosks which he (the chairman) had allowed to be put “in return for money”.
BMC chairman Surjit Singh Chouhan has accepted the letter. However, Mohammed Saghir apologized but BJP camp did not buy it and a MiC member Krishna Mohan Soni handed a letter to Chouhan referring the Section 19(a) MP Nagar Parkik Nigam Act. In the meantime, Chouhan adjourned the meeting for five meeting.
‘They called me gambler, pickpocket’

‘Lakhs embezzled in construction of retaining wall’
Congress Corporator Monu Saxena raised the issue of retaining wall of Upper Lake. When he issue was not taken into consideration, he trooped into the Well with documents. Other Congress corporators followed suit. He alleged that BMC engineer Santosh Gupta embezzled crores of rupees and BMC is protecting him.
