Sun shone brightly with patches of clouds hovering over the city
BHOPAL : The high percentage of humidity enhanced the discomfort level for the citizens in the state capital on Tuesday. Morning humidity was pegged at 93 per cent while in the evening it was 48 per cent.
It has been a big fluctuation in the humidity. This fluctuation is due to transition period -rainy season and winter season.
There was sunny weather throughout the day with patches of clouds in the sky which led to increased humidity level.
As per the weatherman, days are rather sultry and uncomfortable due to high humidity in October. During October with reduced cloudiness, days are warmer and nights are cooler than the previous month.
It is characteristic feature of the month and it happens.
At temperature front, city recorded a maximum temperature of 32.8°C which was normal and it recorded a minimum temperature of 22.0°C which was 2°C above normal. Gwalior and Naugaon recorded 36 °C which was highest day temperature in the state.
As far as all over the state is concerned, rain and thundershowers are likely at isolated places over Ratlam, Jhabua, Ujjain, Alirajpur, Dhar, Badwani, South Khargone, Burhanpur, South Khandwa, Betul, Harda, South Chhindwara, Seoni and Balaghat.
Just couple of days ago, there was a spell of rain due to a system in Bay of Bengal. So its impact seemed to be there in other parts of the state. This is the reason, still there are chances of rain at isolated places in the state.
