BHOPAL: The ‘Industry Doyen’ award was conferred on CMD, NHPC Limited KM Singh by the Construction Industry Development Council at the 9th CIDC Vishwakarma Awards ceremony at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on March 7.
The award recognises the immense contribution of Singh in the field of hydropower development in the country. The award was presented by Justice Arijit Pasayat, former judge, Supreme Court of India and former IAS officer Pradip Bhargava. The 160-MW Teesta Low Dam-IV Project of NHPC located in West Bengal was also awarded as ‘Best Construction Project’.
