Heat wave and scorching heat continued to hit normal life in most parts of the state including the capital . People have been advised to have caps and scarf over heads for protection from scorching heat. They have been told to increase the water intake to ward of dehydration. Mercury continued to soar all over the state on Friday. Heat wave continued to lash most of the part of the state. In Bhopal, temperature soared intensifying the scorching heat.
Pachmarhi recorded 7 degree Celsius rise in night temperature with 23 degree Celsius. It was sharp rise in night temperature. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 41.3 degree Celsius which was 4.6 degree Celsius above normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 22.4 degree Celsius which was 2.4 degree Celsius above normal. As per the meteorological department, temperature continued to soar and heat wave will continue in the state.
