Bhopal: High Court registrar Mohammed Fahim Anwar, in a statement, clarified that ADJ RK Srivas, who is under transfer to Neemuch, joined in 2000 as Civil Judge (class-III) and posted at Jhabua. As per transfer policy, he had to opt for posting at six places – two from each subsequent zones like Rewa, Bhopal and Gwalior –after completion of three years tenure at Dhar.
His option was Sagar in Rewa zone. The post of CJM was not vacant at Sagar, therefore, he was posted at Shahdol in Rewa Zone on March 14, 2016 as per policy. Soon, thereafter, he was promoted as ADJ on August 16, 2016, which necessitated his transfer to Sihora, Jabalpur. He resisted his transfer leveling allegation against the HC. Shrivas was called before committee where he apologised and on basis of apology, strict warning was issued against him on September 6, 2016. However, he disputed that he did not apologise and submitted a representation which was declined.
The officer continued indulging in behaviour unbecoming of a judicial officer for which disciplinary action was initiated vide resolution on March 2, 2017. The departmental enquiry is pending. Pending departmental enquiry, he was posted in HC as Officer on Special Duty (OSD). Since officer is quite senior, it was decided that his experience should not go waste. Hence, he was posted at Neemuch, which is near his home town—Ratlam.
