Bhopal: Harshita overall champ in Dubai sailing tourney

BHOPAL: Players of MP State Water Sports Academy have won one gold and two bronze medals in the Youth Sailing Cup final organised at Ras Al Khaimah in Dubai from April 4 to 8 by Asian Sailing Federation. Harshita Tomar won gold and emerged overall topper. Ram Milan Yadav and Uma Chouhan won one bronze each. The medal winners, along with GL Yadav, an Arjun awardee and chief coach of the academy met director sports and youth welfare Upendra Jain and briefed him about their achievements. Sports minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia has congratulated the winners and expressed happiness over the successes of the players of the academy in the international contest.
