BHOPAL: West Central Railway (WCR) either canceled or diverted 10 trains passing through Madhya Pradesh for next five days-February 11-15 due to Gujjar quota agitation in Rajasthan. The trains which have been canceled include Sampark Kranthi (12217) – Train from Kochuveli to Chandigarh and Madgaon- Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express (22413) on February 11. Goa Sampark Kranti Express (12449) – Train from Madgaon to Chandigarh has been cancelled on February 12 and February 13 and Azimabad Express (PT) – Ahmadabad to Patna (12947) has been cancelled on February 13.
Similarly, Indore-New Delhi (12415) has been further cancelled for February 11, February 12 and February 13. Mandsaur-Kota Express (29019/29020) has been cancelled for February 11, February 12 and February 13. Gorakhpur-Bandra Express (22922) will remain cancelled on February 12. Gorakhpur- Bandra(19038) will remain cancelled on February 12 and February 15. Train services remain affected in Rajasthan as the Gujjar quota agitation entered its third day.
West Central Railway said that it has diverted, short-terminated 10 trains at Sawai Madhopur-Bayana section in Rajasthan. To help stranded passengers, the Railways will run a special train between Bandra Terminus (Mumbai) and Sawai Madhopur (9027/9028) in Rajasthan. The trains will run from these stations till February 14. The train will depart from Bandra Terminus at 8:15pm. Departure time for the train from Sawai Madhopur will be 1:45 pm on these days.
