Bhopal: The state government transferred 11 IAS officers from their present postings on Tuesday. BR Naidu, who has served as additional chief secretary (ACS) in labour department will get department of higher education.
ACS Prabhanshu Kamal was sent to the department of general administration from SC welfare department. It is said that the government was irked with the tenure of Kamal.
Similarly, principal secretary (PS) Ashish Upadhyay will now handle SC welfare department. Upadhyay was not at good terms with minister Jaibhan Sigh Pawaiya who looks after the department.
PS SN Mishra is transferred to ST welfare department and will also have additional charge of transport department and CEO of MP transport authority.
PS Ashwani Kumar Rai is transferred to labour department from animal husbandry, PS Ajeet Kesri is transferred from cooperative to animal husbandry, PS Ashok Shah has been transferred from ST welfare to the department of social justice, PS KC Gupta is transferred from food and civil supplies department to cooperative department while Neelam Shami Rao is transferred from department of social justice to food and civil supplies department.
Similarly, PS Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) VL Kantarao will now have additional charge of industries commissioner while PS revenue, Arun Pandey will hold additional charge of MD in small industries corporation.
Additional secretary of Bhopal gas disaster Nagendra Mishra will be additional commissioner of Jabalpur division while deputy secretary in ST welfare department Amar Singh Baghel will be new additional commissioner of Shahdol division.
