Bhopal: Governor lauds Katni collector for sending his kid to aganwadi

Bhopal: Governor Anandiben Patel has appreciated IAS Pankaj Jain’s initiative of sending his girl child to government run aganwadi. Jain is posted as collector Katni. Governor Patel in her letter said that she was extremely happy to know that he has sent his daughter Pankhudi to an aganwadi. Your initiative is laudable.

She has written that such actions of public servants inspire people. This initiative of yours will inspire others besides increasing people’s confidence in government run welfare schemes. Pankaj Jain, a 2012 batch officer and his wife Tanvi Jain decided to send their daughter to an aganwadi instead of a private playschool. Tanvi is a 2010 batch IAS posted in Bhopal as director MP electronic development corporation. Inspired by collector Jain’s initiative, CEO of zila panchayat is also sending his son to aganwadi. Collector Jain had instructed the local authorities not to make any special arrangements for his daughter.
