BHOPAL: The insurance of driver and conductor will now be sponsored by the government. Transport department has launched Motor vehicle Driver-Conductor Welfare Scheme with the objective to aid drivers and conductors in the fields of education, health, employment and social security.
To be eligible to take benefits of the scheme, an applicant needs to be domicile of Madhya Pradesh, with valid driving licence with name figuring in Samagra portal. District transport officer has appealed all drivers and conductors to avail benefits of the scheme. Applications for aid under the scheme could be submitted at transport office of the concerned office.
