Bhopal: There seems to be no end to the bureaucratic surgery as amid trading of charges between political bigwigs, the transfer orders are not only continue to pour but are also being modified and changed. The transfer orders of 34 officers of state police services (SPS) were either amended or cancelled on Saturday. These officers were transferred a week ago.
Transfer orders of 20 additional superintendent of police (ASPs) and deputy superintendent of police (DSPs) were also issued. The transfer orders are being continuously issued after Congress coming to power. These transfer orders are also being amended. It is first time when the government is doing amendments and cancellation of transfers in such a large number.
Sources claim that the condition of law and order in the state is under question. The changes in transfer orders of Police show that the government is totally focusing on transfers, add sources. Leader of opposition Gopal Bhargava has accused the government of running transfer industry.
The transfers are made on the recommendations of ministers, MLAs and Congress leaders. The pressure of politicians is also the reason behind changes in transfer orders. BJP spokesman Rajnish Agarwal said transfer is the only activity going on in the present government. Agarwal said the changes in transfer orders in such a large number tell the real story.
